Grow

We strive to be a community where God's people grow in faith.

Youth Formation

Godly Play (PreK - 4th Grade) is offered in the Lower Hall beginning at 9:15 am. This is a Montessori-based program that is rich with opportunities for children to learn the Christian story and faith practices through storytelling and hands-on learning. Interested families are requested to reach out to the parish office so we can be sure we're ready for you!

Adult Formation

The call to grow in faith doesn't stop when Sunday School ends! St. Paul's offers multiple opportunities throughout the year for people of all ages to nourish their spirit, develop spiritual practices to help them grow closer to God, and dig deeper into the story of God's love.

  • Small Groups are the heart of adult formation at St. Paul's. Throughout the year, we gather in groups of 3-7 people to explore the life of faith.

  • Sunday Forum is our Sunday program, held during the program year at 9:15 am. These offerings, led by staff or parish members, include explorations of a variety of subjects, from Scripture, to Common Prayer, to the Sacred in Art & Music, to Contemporary topics.

  • Men's Propers is vigorous conversation about the scripture lessons assigned for the following Sunday. We meet at 8 a.m. in the Guild Room for coffee, hot rolls and juice while we discuss each of the lessons in a way that often takes us into how our faith gets expressed in the daily events of our lives. All the men are warmly welcomed and encouraged to participate.

  • The Benedictine Way is a specialized small group, meeting on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 2:00pm, that uses the spiritual practices of the Rule of St. Benedict of Nursia as a structure in which to deepen spiritual growth.

  • Renovare small groups of 5-7 gather weekly to study short readings from great writings in Christian spirituality. Once formed, each group commits to working together through the academic year. New groups will be open in September and organized as needed.
